EMVC Celebrates 16th Anniversary with Soup Kitchen Donation
Eye Mobile Vision Care (EMVC) is delighted to announce the success of our first soup kitchen event held on March 31st, 2023, organized in commemoration of our 16th Anniversary. The event, organized in partnership with our I Can See charity foundation, aimed to give back to the community and was made possible by the generous support of Joe Mikes Catering.
Approximately sixty (60) individuals were served nutritious meals at the St. John’s Soup Kitchen, which was open to anyone in need of a warm meal. According to Mrs. Annushka Andrew, the Director of Operations of EMVC, "We wanted to commemorate 16 years of operations with a charity, and what better way to do that than by giving back to the community that has supported us for all these years." She expressed gratitude to Joe Mikes and the EMVC team of volunteers who helped to make the event a success.
EMVC's I Can See charity foundation was established with the objective of providing vision care to underserved communities. The foundation has been actively involved in various community projects and initiatives, including providing free eye exams and glasses to low-income families and organizing vision care clinics in rural areas.
Eye Mobile Vision Care wishes to extend heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed their time and resources to ensure the success of this event.
We encourage other corporate entities to join us as we make a positive impact within the communities of Antigua and Barbuda.
